Gamza is the Bulgarian name for Kadarka - a thin skinned difficult to grow grape that when carefully handled is capable of producing pale coloured chillable crunchy red wines such as this. The Gamza and Cabernet Franc grapes are sourced from a single vineyard in North West Bulgaria on the shore of the Danube River, at just 35-50 metres, where the climate is temperate continental. Fermentation and maceration take place is stainless steel at controlled temperatures.
